Racial harassment is the intimidation or abuse of an individual because of their race. Harassment comes in a variety of different forms and can be verbal and psychological as well as physical. (See Harassment)

Rape is the physical act of having sexual intercourse with a person without their consent - this refers to both men and women.

Remand :
To be put on remand means to be put in custody or released on bail during a gap in criminal proceedings. Once an individual has been arrested they may be kept on remand or given bail before they are put on trial, or if a delay occurs in the court proceedings.
